The EGR system fitted to most modern diesel engines re-circulates parts of the exhaust gases back into the air intake on overrun with the intention of improving emissions.

Removing this system actually makes little difference to emissions. The Terrafirma EGR valve removal kit allows the EGR valve to be completely removed from the inlet manifold which eliminates the restriction, increasing air flow and performance.

The kit comes complete with EGR blanking plates, fitting instructions etc.

This EGR Removal kit is for the Land Rover Discovery 3 TDV6 Pre Euro 4 Emission engines up to and including 6A chassis numbers only.

Anything with a 7A vin onwards won't be compatible due to emissions systems and regulations unless the vehicle has the EGR valves mapped out with software.
